Exchange Rates!
Hello All – If you are thinking about booking a trip to Copenhagen for BMX Worlds, book early, as exchange rates are subject to change and we will bill based on the exchange rate at the time of booking. For example, we have had to adjust the rate up about 40.00 USD per package today due to the strengthing Danish Krone. In effort to bring you the best rates, we will adjust prices on Fridays, when warranted. For information on exchange rates, please see www.Oanda.com for up to date exchanges. It is been a busy few weeks for us. Last week, I visited the BMX Worlds 2012 venue in Birmingham and the London Olympic Road and TT sites. Interested? Send me a mail. As well, I had visitors from USA Track and Field on the island. We had a small tour, but took in most of the best sights. We caught Cap Formentor at dusk and the photos are unbelievable:

Well, the Mallorca Challenge finished yesterday and it is back to normal life. No bike racing circus in town and no more planning the days around stage finishes or race viewings from local passes! The weather was the best we have had for the Challenge in a few years with a ton of SUN and temperatures in the 50’s and 60’s! For the second in a row, I worked with the Highroad Team. It is very different to my everyday activities and I enjoy it every year!

Hello All from Colorado Springs! The year has started off with a BANG! I travelled on Tuesday to Colorado for the first round of meetings with USA Cycling regarding our planning and preparation for the Olympic Games. We have spent hours and hours talking, planning, and sharing ideas for 2012 Games. In 2012, I will for 3rd time be a part of the USA Team in the Olympic Games. I first worked in the Olympic Games as a team mechanic in 2004. In 2008, I co-lead the team with Pat McDonough and in 2012, I will be leading the team with Jim Miller. Though I cannot share the details of our meetings, I can assure you that we spend hours talking about how dial in our process to acheive excellence and ensure that all athletes have the best opportunity to win a medal. Planning for the Games is incredibly interesting with planning bottom to top and top to bottom, crossing t’s and dotting i’s. In about 18 months from now you will see the results of all the team-work and planning. One point, in Athens we (USA Cycling Team) won 3 medals and in Beijing we won 5 medals. Who can guess how many we plan to win in 2012?
