St. Wendel – MTB Worlds 2010

Hello All – I’ve just returned from a site inspection trip to St. Wendel  for MTB Marathon Worlds 2010! This will be a cool event! The area is very beautiful with rolling hills, forest, and many lakes. The race itself starts South of the city in sporting complex. The view from the venue reminds you what European bike racing is all about. It is the same venue that has been used many times for CX World Cup and will feature in 2011 as the venue for CX World Championships.

The hotel I found for Marathon Worlds is typically German, meaning that everything is spotless and the food is outstanding! Working on setting the “sports” menu with the hotel and then we are ready to host riders in August. I’m very excited for this trip, as we will share our experiences of over 12 years in professional cycling with our clients. Logistics with be perfectly managed and all riders will experience support that we typically provide in World Championship events.
